ADVANTAGE Travel Centres president Roger Smith has
criticised ABTA’s leaflet on fees, saying it needs to spell out a broader
message to the public.
Smith said the association needs to start telling the public
that booking fees are likely to become commonplace as agents’ earnings are
eroded.
An ABTA spokesman defended the leaflet claiming other retailers,
ARTAC Worldchoice agents among them, are adamant that services for package
holidays will not become widespread.
