Air 2000 to return after soaring interest

FIRST-TIME exhibitor Air 2000 is planning to take a stand at next year’s London show after drumming up a lot of interest this year.

The carrier, which was recruiting cabin crew, was the only airline at the exhibition and reported that it was a lot busier than expected.

Natasha Milne, one of the airline’s cabin crew, said: “There has been a lot of interest. We have seen a lot of good potential candidates and are giving them application forms.

“We are always looking for ways to get new cabin crew as we need so many, but often people just don’t get around to applying.”

Milne and other cabin crew manned the stand as Air 2000 believes they are best placed to talk about the job and spot likely candidates

“Recruits have to be aged at least 20 years’ old, confident and well presented, and a travel background helps, but personality is the key,” said Milne. “Talking to us here is a good way for visitors to find out what it is all about and for us to get the name across.”
