EXCEL Airways, the new airline formed by the Libra Holidays
Group, aims to become the UK’s leading charter carrier by beating rivals on
punctuality and reliability.
The airline, which was unveiled at Gatwick last week, is to
start its flying programme on May 1. It will offer short-haul flights from
Manchester, Gatwick and regional airports to Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Spain, the
Canaries and Egypt.
The carrier is targeting the independent travel market as
well as its own in-house tour operators.
