Thanks for all your support following Airtours accident

WE just had to acknowledge the very kind messages we have received, from all over the world, following the tragic accident that befell some of our colleagues on FridaySeptember 3. It is at times like this you appreciate that the aviation industry is a truefamily and the grief we are experiencing we know is being shared by so many.

We are very proud of our airline, and the group we serve, and this has been demonstrated so vividly by the rallying support for ourGlasgow staff, and the way they have conductedthemselves since the accident. Two of the survivors have made good progress at home, our third cabin crew member is out of intensive care, anddoing well.

Many people have asked if there is a memorial fund for the victims. We have now set up such an account with Barclays Bank, the details are:Airtours plc (Linwood Memorial); account number: 50427160; sort code: 20-55-34.
