ON-LINE events guide Whatsonwhen.com has secured second
round funding from venture capitalists European Equity Partners.
The exact sum has not been made public but a spokeswoman for
Whatsonwhen.com said it would be “enough to see the company through to
profitability in summer 2001.” She added a private investor will also be
funding the company.
Whatsonwhen, which provides travel information and
entertainments listings for 120 countries, has also signed new deals to provide
content to both Thomascook.com and Lonely Planet.
