ANIMALS that were once captive in the Millennium Dome have been liberated and set lose in the countryside.

A 6ft plastic hamster, complete with a chunk of cheese and a seagull made entirely of kitchen utensils have found a new home in Hop Farm Country Park, a tourist attraction in Beltring, Kent.

Owners of the farm, Brent and Fiona Pollard, are now holding a competition for local schools to come up with a name for the hamster.
