* guerba adds 16-day tour of venezuela
Specialist operator Guerba has added a new tour to its Latin
America programme. Origin of the Angel Falls, a 16-day tour of
Venezuela, features a trek to the plateau of Auyan Tepui, the
source of the Angel Falls. The first departure isJune 9 and costs
£1,265 per person, based on two sharing. This includes three
nights’ hotel and two nights’ lodge accommodation, one overnight
bus and nine nights’ camping. The cost also covers most meals and
all internal transport.
* hyatt TO OPEN sïO PAULO PROPERTY
Hyatt International will be opening the 470-guestroom Grand
Hyatt Sïo Paulo next June. This hotel will be Hyatt’s Latin
American flagship property. In the same month Hyatt will beopening
the 185-room Park Hyatt Mendoza and Regency Casino inMendoza,
Argentina. Hyatt plans to used these new properties as aspringboard
for otherventures in the region. Key cities for expansion include
Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil andCaracas, Venezuela.

departures in April from £508 to Air TravelOrganisers’ License

* sunvil expands costa rica programme
Sunvil Holidays has expanded its Costa Rica programme with 16
pages dedicated to it in the new brochure. New are spring
honeymoons from May 1 and June 30, with room upgrades to suites or
chalets and a champagne dinner on the final night’s stay. In
addition there are two new 10-night escorted tours, and Sunvil
hasintroduced a money-saving option for three peopleprepared to
share a room in May or June. The price drops to £650 for two
weeks for the third person.
