Training

&#42 Chameleon Training andConsulting is running Level 1 and 2 fares and ticketing courses for Amadeus from May. Fourfour-day Level 1 courses are scheduled for this year, from May 22-25, July 17-20,September 18-21 and November 20-23. Level 2 training, for agents who want to improve their fare constructioncapabilities, will be held from August 21-24 and December11-14. Course prices start at £565. &#42 Princess Cruises is inviting 2,600 agents on a two-night trip cruise departing Southampton on May 8 to introduce the trade to its new ship, Golden Princess. Agents will get a chance toexperience all the ship’s facilities and there will be presentations from personnel including P&O Princess Cruises chief executive officer Peter Radcliffeintroducing the 2002 programmes and outlining the cruiseline’s future plans. &#42 The five-star Princess Hotel in Eilat has extended its special agents rate of £50 per room per night for two people half-board until June (excluding Easter). The hotel wants agents to visit the resort for themselves so they can sell it to clients.
