Dune driving
* Abu Dhabi-based OffRoad Emirates specialises in operating tailored group touring programmes through the emirates, Oman and Iran and will soon launch a Saudi Arabia venture. Mode of transport is a 4WD with a guide. Regional manager George Duncan said: “We also handle incentive events for those with interests in outdoor activities. We are willing to host inspection trips to tour operators.”
All programmes include hotel accommodation and overnight camping. Tours begin at £780 per person. “Most of our bookings are from fully inclusive tours, for four to eight people. The average tour costs $1,865 per person. The longer 14-day trips work out at around $3,550 per head for a minimum of four passengers,” said Duncan.
