Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has introduced direct flights from Belfast and Cardiff to Barbados to join Black Watch on a Spanish Main Caribbean flycruise. The programme alreadyoperates from London and Manchester. Discounts are available on bookings made before April 28.

A website service offering business travellers the chance to get maximum benefits from airline, car hire and hotel loyalty programmes has been launched. The www.rewardlife.com site combines loyalty points with a guide to customers’ accounts. It is independent of all loyalty schemes and aims to simplify them for the business traveller at a cost of £10-£50 a year.

&#42 euroceltic opens waterford ticket desk

Euroceltic Airways has opened a dedicated check-in, ticket and reservation desk at Waterford Airport. The airline is doubling its weekday daily flights between Waterford and Luton from May 14, bringing the number to 12a week.

&#42 stena forwarder makes debut sailing

Stena Forwarder has made its debut on Stena Line’s Holyhead-Dublin Port route ahead of its official launch on Thursday. It has replaced Stena Challenger on the tourist and freight route and can carry 1,000passengers. Dubbed the fastest superferry on the Irish Sea, it has reduced the crossing time by 45 minutes to three hours.
