TOURIST attractions across London are open today as usual,
despite demonstrations planned by anti-capitalist protestors.
A spokeswoman for the London Tourist Board said: “We have had
no news about anything being closed and we have taken the advice of the
Metropolitan Police which is that people should go about their business as
usual.”
Meanwhile, staff at the head offices of low-cost airline
Buzz are working off-site for the day and the offices at Royal Olympic Cruises
will be closing early because of the demonstrations.
The protests are expected to culminate at Oxford Street
later this afternoon following smaller all across the capital.
