Disney is light ears ahead

Life in the fast lane: adrenaline junkies should race off to the speedway track where the cars touch speeds of 145mph during the five-minute trip

IT’S a small world. But you’d be forgiven for thinking the opposite if you’ve ever attempted to enjoy all that Walt Disney World Florida has got to offer.

Covering a massive 47sq miles and consisting of four theme parks, three water parks and 17 resorts, there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Brits more used to the delights of Southend Pier or Blackpool pleasure beach should bear one thing in mind – you can’t do it all in one day.

The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Frontierland, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom boast 666 attractions and rides. And it’s not all heart-in-the-mouth stuff.

Theme park tickets can be bought before travelling from specialist ticket agencies such as Keith Prowse. Walt Disney World has plenty of alternative action alongside the roller coasters, catering for both the young and the young at heart. Here’s a little taster.
