n airglobe launches ayia napa club pack



Greece and Cyprus specialist Airglobe has teamed up with the Castle club in Ayia Napa to launch a club pack aimed at young revellers. The £25 pack – which must be pre-booked in the UK – includes two tickets to the Castle, a complimentary bar crawl around the resort, a free waterski session on Makronissos beach, one free drink each night at the Buzz and Vibe bars, and an Airglobe T-shirt. The Castle is a 2,000-capacity club with eight bars and three dance floors. Playing sessions this summer will be stalwarts of the UK club scene Brandon Block, Alex P and Paul Gardiner, with special guest appearances expected from Paul Oakenfold, Boy George and Danny Rampling.



n encounter to target young professionals



Hard and soft-adventure operator Encounter is targeting students and young professionals for its long-haul overland breaks. Product and marketing manager Warren Burton said they make up a growing market for ‘hands-on’ adventure holidays off the beaten track. The latest brochure is out now and features three new breaks: an 18-day Holy Tibet and Kailash expedition costing £1,595, a 21-day Jordan, Syria and the Lebanon option costing £937 and a 15-day trekking holiday in Irian Jaya, West Papua New Guinea, costing £735. Prices exclude flights.



n contiki introduces new summer itineraries



Eighteen-35 coach specialist Contiki – popular with young Australians living in the UK – has introduced two new summer itineraries. The 13-day Mediterranean Highlights tour leads in at £575 and takes in Barcelona, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Nice, Monte Carlo, Cinqueterre, Florence and Rome. The 12-day Taste of Tuscany package is billed as a lifestyle tour, calling on Siena, Assisi, Florence, San Gimignano and Lucca. The tour starts and finishes in Rome and leads in at £955.
