Associations issue special invite to UK buyers
TWO social events have been planned at Pow Wow specifically for UK buyers.
On May 6, a reception for UK members of the Visit USA Association is being held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel from 5pm-7pm. The event will be hosted by Kissimmee St Cloud and Orlando, Walt Disney Hotels, Visit Florida, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Travel Weekly.
On Tuesday May 8, the State of Massachusetts and the Discover New England marketing consortium are staging a New England Clambake evening at the Jaws attraction at Universal Studios, from 7pm-10pm.
If arriving in Orlando in time, buyers are also being encouraged to join the Grand Opening Legacy event – 2001 Space Odyssey! – on May 5 at the Kennedy Space Centre. The evening will include the company of Gemini and Apollo astronauts Buz Aldrin, Gene Cernan and Wally Schirra.
