SeaCat eyes business market with new deals

SEACAT has enhanced its Blue Riband membership package to try to boost the number of business travellers on its sailings between the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

New for this year is a priority booking telephone number, three-course meal and complimentary on-board snack and a vehicle windscreen wash.

Members already enjoy their own on-board lounge, priority loading and unloading, complimentary newspapers and fax and telephone facilities.

They are also served free tea, coffee and bar drinks by dedicated Blue Riband staff.

A spokesman said: “The Blue Riband Club offers a first-class service but is paid for as a yearly subscription.

“We wanted to update the service for our frequent business travellers and offer them extra comfort.”

Blue Riband membership costs £150 per person or £250 for a twin package.

SeaCat fares lead in at £135 return for a midweek sailing for a car and one passenger on any of its crossings.
