US
COMPANIES are cutting back on staff travel a new study has found.
The
National Business Travel Association surveyed 200 companies and found 68% have
reduced staff travel because of the economic slow-down in the US and the large
costs involved.
The survey
also found 60% of companies have tried forming relationships with air and hotel
suppliers to reduce costs and 49% will institute restrictive travel policies
until the end of the year if not longer.
