THE FOREIGN and Commonwealth Office is advising against
non-essential travel to Kathmandu in Nepal.
There have been outbreaks of violence at some public
demonstrations following the funerals of King Birendra and other members of the
royal family, and the death of King Dipendra. In addition, a curfew has been
declared in the Kathmandu Valley region.
