ABTA has improved its performance in the last two
years and now offers better value, according to members.
Results from the association’s biennial membership
survey reveal a higher level of satisfaction than in 1999, with 86% believing
Newman Street handles important trade issues effectively or very effectively –
up from 80%.
Meanwhile, 62% of members believe ABTA to be good at
lobbying the Government (57% in 1999),
and 63% reckon it offers value for money (53%).
ABTA president Stephen Bath
said: “The survey provides us with useful information as to how well we
are serving our members’ interests and pinpoint areas that require further
attention.”
