AMERICAN Express is to create an amalgamated European supplier relations
division headed by former vice president of sales in Amex’s US and Canadian
travellers cheques group Peggy Sousa.
Global
supplier relations head Kim Lewis said: “I am delighted that Peggy has agreed
to oversee our newly combined European supplier relations group. In a rapidly changing market place our focus
on building even stronger relationship with our suppliers is going to be
crucial.”
Sousa has worked for Amex for the
past 17 years.
