Panorama adds destinations in expansion bid

PANORAMA Holidays has
introduced Sicily, the Neapolitan Riviera and Lake Garda to its second-edition
2002 programmes as it continues to expand under parent company Airtours.

Marketing manager Owen Whitehead
said that the expansion followed research among customers, which revealed a
constant demand for new destinations.

The operator has introduced
six hotels in Sorrento, six at Lake Garda and 10 in Sicily, with flights to
Italy from Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham.

Whitehead said:
“Although bed stock is at a premium in Italy we have worked very hard to
deliver a quality product.”

Prices in the programme lead
in at £469 per person for seven nights staying at the four-star hotel Parco del
Sole in Sorrento.

In a further move to expand
the product range Minorca has been added with five featured properties largely
geared towards families.

A selection of
self-catering accommodation and secluded villas with pools are available.
