FORMER Allied Irish Bank chief executive Tom Mulcahy has
been appointed chairman of Aer Lingus.
Mulcahy takes over from Bernie Cahill who was recently killed
in a boating accident.
Aer Lingus group chief executive John O’Donovan said: “I am
delighted at the appointment of Tom Mulcahy as chairman. He is a fitting
successor to Bernie Cahill whose inspiring leadership was brought to a
premature end with his recent untimely death.”
