uk accounts for 24% of thomas cook’s business

THOMAS Cook AG, fomerly C&N Touristic, has issued
third quarter results revealing the UK now accounts for 24% of the tour
operator’s business.

C&N bought Thomas Cook in December last year for
around £550 million and changed its name in May this year to the Thomas Cook
brand.

Turnover in the nine months
to July 31 increased by 55.7% to £3.2 billion, with two thirds of the growth
attributed to the consolidation of Thomas Cook.
