SAS SCANDINAVIAN Airlines has confirmed all 110 people
aboard flight SK686 died when it crashed at Milan/Linate airport yesterday.
The airline has agreed to pay each of the next of kin
$25,000 regardless of the cause of the accident, which is under investigation.
SAS will not comment on the cause of the crash, although it
is reported that a small Cessna aircraft strayed into the path of flight SK866
as it was preparing for take off, causing it to collide with a baggage handling
building.
