LTB to look at tourism levels

THELONDONTourist Board is spearheading a new partnership to research the effects of the US attacks on London’s tourism.

LTB chairman Teresa Wickham said the first step is to understand how the industry is faring now and plan a strategy for recovery. The research, which will be undertaken by the London Tourism Recovery Group, the Association of London Government, London Regeneration Agency, Cross River Partnership and Cultural Partners for London, will look out how attractions, accommodation, entertainment and transport have been affected.

Wickham said:”It will take some time to recover the growth levels we were experiencing until this year.”
