AIRTOURS has taken further steps to ease the Mediterranean capacity crisis with the £63.4m acquisition of the 1,474-room Bellevue in Majorca.
The Alcudia-based property gives Airtours access to 1m bed nights during the summer at a time when operators are desperate for extra capacity.
It is one of the biggest complexes of its kind in Europe and further underlines Airtours’ pledge to invest in property (Travel Weekly September 27).
