Company history
* Established as a nation-wide organisation promoting careers in hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism in March 1998.
* Operates from five Regional Centres -London, Cardiff,Nottingham, Manchester and Glasgow and a further 12 local centres.
* Aims to promote the industry to potential recruits and raise the perceptions of it as an employer.
* Offers free, objective advice on careers in the industry.
* Stages innovative events in partnership with education and industry to showcase the career opportunities available.
* Produces educational materials for potential recruits and the people that influence them.
* Mounts the annual Springboard UK Careers Festival (15-22 October) giving industry theplatform to literally open their doors to demonstrate thefantastic range ofopportunities on offer.
