Backchat suggests that someone at Air France sends a history book to their new friends at Delta Air Lines.
An executive at Delta, Mark Drusch, the senior vice-president of network management, is going around boasting of his airline’s vast armada of aircraft.
“We have big international jets, little nippy regional jets, fast shuttle operations and funky alliances in the Delta armada,” he crowed.
No-one, not even mighty United Airlines or American Airlines can compete, he said. Not even our own British Airways.
Drusch was recently seen standing proudly on stage with his huge, black, menacing armada portrayed behind him on the big screen.
“We can offer the passenger whatever she or he wants, a myriad of connections they could only previously dream about and partners everyone is happy with through our armada,” said an effusive Drusch.
We would like to point out to Mr Drusch that the last person who boasted so proudly of a vast armada setting sail to battle it out with the British received a very nasty shock indeed.
