No aid from agents until BA admits it was wrong
ITDIDN’T take British Airways long to come grovelling to ABTA, cap in hand, in an effort to seek more support from the UK agents.
No matter how much its sales plummet, no matter how far the share price falls, we will never promote BA over any other carrier and will continue to switch-sell massively.
That is until BA admits it was totally wrong with the Fresh Approach and return to a base commission of 9%.
That may help build a bridge or two, and maybe, just maybe, BA sales figures will see an upturn. It will take a long time to heal the wounds they have inflicted upon the retail industry and God help any other airline that even considers such a move.
