Cosmos can’t afford tobe so cavalier
Your Analysis about Cosmos (Travel Weekly October 1) is well observed. Its main problem is that it tries to be a big operator without respecting the need for a good relationship with the agents.
The other main tour operators have their own distribution networks and get away with treating the trade badly.
However, Cosmos is without its own distribution, yet still treats agents in the same cavalier fashion.
Cosmos cannot have the same arrogant attitude as Thomson, First Choice, Airtours, and, to a lesser degree, JMC.
