Key points of BA’s £600m investment


  • Fourth class of cabin – World Traveller Plus.

  • A £20m investment in First, including ‘buddy seats’ which allow travellers to discuss business matters or have a meal in privacy.

  • A £150m investment in World Traveller, its economy class, including adjustable headrests and footrests, personal video screens and enhanced catering designed by TV chef Brian Turner.

  • Enhancements to Club World, BA’s long-haulbusiness-class service, include meal orders at the start of the flight, colouredglassware and white linen and some flexible eating options.

  • Concorde’s service will be redesigned, with menus to match the finest restaurants in the world, with wines and champagnes from the Concorde cellar.
