TAP Air Portugal has launched a route from Gatwick to Lisbon. The service, which will run every day except will lead in at £119 return until April 13, rising to £219 for the Easter period between April14-22. After this date, the standard public fare will drop to £159 plus tax. Cresta has introduced a special agents’ offer for this service, at £54 return per person excluding tax. n porto to get New services
GB Airways’ new Heathrow-Porto route, starting March 26, brings its total number of weekly scheduled services offered to 45 per week. GB Airways commercial director Peter Kenworthy said:”Operating all of our Faro services from Gatwick and starting the new daily Heathrow-Porto service will give us a better balance of business and leisure passengers. Our Porto schedule will allow for the first time a daily day return option from Gatwick complimented by a mid-afternoon rotation at Heathrow.” The new return flight leads in at £143.50 including tax.
