* Gulf air launches limousine service
Gulf Air has launched a chauffeur limousine service for its first andbusiness-class passengers at Heathrow. The service will be available within a 55-mile radius of the airport. The airline has alsointroduced three days’complimentary parking.
* Garuda targets UKbusiness travellers
Indonesian flag carrier Garuda International istargeting the UK business travel market with the launch of its flight to Jakarta via Frankfurt. The Gatwick service started operation on October 29 and departs daily, except Tuesdays, at 2.40pm.
* Palace homes in on domestic market
Kensington Palace hopes to increase the number of domestic tourists in the Jubilee Year following the downturn in business from the US. As part of the push, the Palace is holding anexhibition displaying the wedding dresses of the last five Queens, opening in May.
