SYNERGI Global Travel Management has announced that New
York-based Sea Gate Travel has become its sole US partner.
Sea Gate replaces McCord Travel Management following McCord’s
merger with WorldTravel/BTI, Atlanta, GA, which created a competitive conflict.
In return for taking a shareholding and investing in
Synergi, Sea Gate will also get a seat on the board of directors.
It will join established UK-based shareholder Ian Allan
Travel. Other new shareholders include The Travel Company, also British-based,
and Synergi Travel New Zealand and Synergi Travel Australia.
Other new shareholders are expected to be announced in the
near future.
