A SURVEY of dissatisfied package holidaymakers has found
less than half would be happy to take their tour operator to court if their
break failed to meet expectations.
Of the 100 people questioned, 55% of holidaymakers would not
pursue the matter in the small claims court with 21% citing the low probability
of success as the reason why. Only 5% had actually taken such action seeking
compensation for a poor holiday.
The survey was carried out on behalf of Holidayclaims.net,
an on-line service that provides legal assistance to consumers pursuing
compensation claims.
