HAVEN Europe has included three newly acquired parks in its 2000 brochure bringing its number of destinations to 47.
The parks, at La Carabasse in Languedoc, La Reserve in Aquitaine and La Pignade in Charente-Maritime, follow an £18m investment in revamping existing parks.
Managing director John Murphy said:”We are delighted to announce the addition of these new parks. By owning and operating our own locations we are better able to deliver exactly what British customers want from a European self-drive holiday as we are able to control the experiences that they have when on-site.”
Sales and marketing director Tim Gibson said educationals will be stepped up this year to show agents the benefits of its park ownership.
“The sites have more facilities and a broader range of accommodation and entertainment,” said Gibson.
Also added to the programme are luxury mobile homes called Haven Caprice and the Prestige range of wooden lodges.
Gibson said the upmarket homes and lodges will attract holidaymakers who stay in gite-style accommodation in France but want to combine their stay with a visit to a family park.
“This unique positioning gives us a very strong and positive message to take to the trade and our customers this year,” he said.
Haven has also boosted children’s facilities, with Rory the Tiger mobile homes. All Haven parks now offer children’s clubs, including the Paws Club for one to four-year-olds and the T-Co Club for those aged 10-14-years-old.
Offers include three weeks for the price of two, single-saver discounts and free adult places with group bookings. Customers taking a holiday of seven nights or more will also get a four-night break in the UK free of charge.
