VIRGIN Express made a profit last year of £79,000.
The airline claims the figure would have been much higher
had Belgian flag carrier Sabena not collapsed. Chairman David Hoare claimed a
code sharing agreement between the airlines accounted for 40% of Virgin Express’
revenue.
The Brussels-based low-cost carrier made a loss the previous
year of £40 million.
