GORDON McNally, former chairman of the Exchange Travel
Group, has died at the age of 77 having suffered strokes and kidney failure.
The Exchange Travel Group, a tour operator and
130-strong retailer, collapsed in September 1990 after ABTA suspended the
company’s membership.
McNally never fully recovered from Exchange Travel’s
collapse, according to his son Graham.
A provisional date of April 15 has been set for the
funeral, to be held in Battle, East Sussex.
