THE French customs strike which has disrupted Eurostar
services today took a surreal twist this morning when strikers chained themselves
to the track at Calais.
The 6.19am London to Paris Eurostar is reported to have been
delayed by an hour as French police tried to persuade workers to come off the
track.
The strike is expected to come to an end later tonight.
Workers are striking over pay and conditions.
