Advantage urges members to book on-line

ADVANTAGE Travel Centres is urging members to use operators’
trade websites when making bookings.

The consortium points out that using the web is cheaper than
dialling an 0870 number and it is faster than viewdata.

To encourage greater Internet usage, Advantage is offering
members a number of incentives. The member that makes the most bookings on the
Web during May will receive £500 while six others, chosen at random, will
receive £50.

A statement issued by Advantage said: “Members are being
urged to use the web for more than just bookings as many sites offer real-time
availability checks, the most up to date special offers and have the ability to
print out quotes and booking confirmations.”
