BAGGAGE handlers and check-in staff are threatening to go on
strike causing widespread disruption at Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted and
Manchester airports.
The Guardian reports that members of the GMB union are to be
balloted on industrial action because of a dispute over pay.
The results of the ballot will be known in a fortnight and
strike action could go ahead one week later.
