New TraveLink system offers seamless connection to Galileo

TraveLink, a Windows-based operator systems supplier is now offering a seamless link to Galileo for its users.

TraveLink has adopted an advanced new interface developed by Galileo, named OLE Select. This allows users to connect to Galileo while staying inside the TraveLink system.

TraveLink managing director David Jones said:”For the TraveLink users the interface is completely transparent – and is seamlessly incorporated into our system’s look and feel.”

He said tour operator staff will simply key in or select point of departure, destination and date when checking availability. Booking and cancellation will become one-click processes, and no codes will be involved.

TraveLink will capture all flight data without the need for retyping information.

And graphic seat availability displays will allow staff to request, modify or cancel seats easily.

TraveLink claims to be the first UK operator systems supplier to adopt Galileo’s OLE Select interface. OLE Select is only compatible with Windows systems.
