Bass Hotels and Resorts has appointed Lucinda Semark to the newly created position of senior director of global brand marketing for its upscale brands, Inter-Continental and Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts. She joins from Britvic Soft Drinks where she was marketing manager.
Conference and event management company WPB Events has appointed Jacqui Sikorska as general manager. She was previously events desk manager for Summit Hotels and Resorts.
Phoenix Travel Group has strengthened its sales team with two new appointments. Sean Wallace has joined the company from outside the industry as national sales manager. Reporting to him will be another new recruit, Marc Cartz, who is sales manager south, working from Phoenix’s Cheltenham office. Phoenix travel manager Tim Rouse has been promoted to the position of travel manager covering the north of England.
The Travel Training Company has increased its sales force with the appointment of two new sales assistants, Annette O’Keefe and Sarah Black. O’Keefe joins from outside the industry while Black previously worked as sales support for event management company Talking Point.
