Thomson looks to family ski market

THOMSON is looking to exploit the growing demand for
family ski holidays in its Thomson Ski and Snowboarding 2002/03 brochure.

It will be opening its first creches for children aged
six months to four years at Villars, in Switzerland, Alpe d’Huez and La
Rosiere, in France, and its Italian resorts are offering free lift-passes for
under sevens.

“We aim to make it as easy as possible for parents to
take their children ski-ing, said product director Gareth Crump.

The programme also features seven new resorts
including Lillehammer, in Norway and Utah from £429.

Meanwhile it has boosted its network of regional
flights by adding a raft of new routes including Newcastle to Dagali, in
Norway, Newcastle to Toulouse and Southampton to Geneva.

Prices start at £199 per
person at the Club Hotel Terril Blanc, in France, on December 7.
