MEDITERRANEAN beach club specialist Mark Warner has held peak holiday prices at 1999 levels in its new summer 2000 brochure.
The operator has reintroduced a second Turkish property, the Clubhotel Palm Beach, as an alternative to the Clubhotel Altinel.
However, it has dropped one of the four properties it used inCorsica in 1999, the Clubhotel Porticcio.
Marketing manager Nigel Ragg said:”Unlike other operators, we did not experience a downturn of bookings of Turkey. But we decided to drop the property in Corsica because we were not able to offer the holiday standard we wanted.”
New for 2000 is a series of intensive tennis courses at selected Clubhotels in Greece, Turkey and Sardinia for an extra £95 per person. The courses include full coaching.
The brochure’s lead-in price is £489 per person for one week at the Clubhotel Altinel. Clients who make bookings before February 25 can get £50 per person off the brochure price.
