VIRGIN
Atlantic has confirmed it is to launch direct weekly flights to Tobago and
Grenada, as revealed in Travel Weekly (July 29).

The
flights will operate from Gatwick and will begin next May. The carrier will add
a weekly Manchester to Barbados flight next winter.

Sir
Richard Branson said: “Virgin entered the Caribbean market in 1998, introducing
services between Gatwick and Barbados, Antigua and St Lucia, and by the end of
this year, we will have flown more than one million passengers on the Caribbean
routes.”
