fire damaged ferry continues journey to Belgium

A PASSENGER ferry stranded in the North Sea because of a
fire has resumed its journey to Belgium.

According to the BBC, the P&O North Sea ferry Norsea was
able to continue on its way to Zeebrugge after firefighters from Suffolk and
North Yorkshire were airlifted to the scene to tackle the fire in its engine
room.

The ship, which is carrying 600 passengers, is making its
way to port using its one undamaged engine.
