c&m expands into Scotland

TRAVEL recruitment agency C&M Recruitment is to expand
into Scotland with the opening of an office in Edinburgh.

Managing director Angus Chisholm said the move shows the
travel industry has recovered following the September 11 terrorist attacks in
the US.

He said: “The recruitment industry is getting back to
normal. Leisure travel has been busy all year and business travel is now
starting to pick up.

“There is a need for specialist travel recruitment in
Scotland, with lots of inbound business travel tied up with the oil and gas
industries and a strong leisure market.”

The company also has branches in London, Manchester and
Gatwick.

The new office, which opens this week, is near Princes
Street in the centre of Edinburgh and two staff have been employed to work
there.

The branch manager will be Sally Henman, who previously
worked at Henry Bath Appointments while Kim Paxton, formerly of Phoenix travel,
has been taken on to work as a recruitment consultant.
