THOMAS Cook Holidays is dropping its dedicated Ireland
brochure for 2003.
The operator said Ireland represented a small part of
its business and that it was focusing on core destinations instead.
But sources hinted Thomas Cook Holidays
was being squeezed out by rivals with strong Ireland programmes, such as
Travelscene, which acquired the Drive Ireland brand last year, and Cresta.

business.”
