ANOTHER low-cost airline is set to launch from Leeds
Bradford airport, serving a range of holiday destinations.
Planet Air will begin weekly services to Palma on
April 11, with flights to Malaga, Alicante and Faro to follow throughout the
month.
Start-up Jet2 will also commence services from the
airport this summer, and Ryanair is increasing capacity following its decision
to move services from Manchester.
Planet Air, launched by brothers Mike and Philip
Firth, will initially use a 167-seater MB83 aircraft.
The airline will sell through
over 300 independent travel agents and will offer 10% commission.
