SINGAPORE
Airlines is increasing capacity on its Manchester to Singapore route by 27%
with the introduction of a new aircraft.
From
March 31, the airline will introduce a Boeing 777-200ER ‘Jubilee’ aircraft on
four days of the week, enabling it to fly non-stop.
Previously, SIA operated a one-stop
service using a Boeing 747 from Manchester. It will still use the 747 on the
remaining three days of the week.
The
move coincides with the launch of the SpaceBed on services out of Manchester.
